Center for Children—Therapeutic Preschool We are the
leader for results in the state of Arkansas. Recent research shows the average percentage of children required to spend all day in special education classes after transitioning out of Arkansas based programs like ours
to be nearly 8%. Last year less than 1% of transitioned children from Stepping Stone were required to spend all day in special education classes in their public school. This low percentage indicates our performance
and places us in the top percentile of effectiveness in the entire nation!What is the Therapeutic Preschool? The
Therapeutic preschool is the only full-time Therapeutic Preschool in Crawford County. We offer educational training, speech, physical, and occupational therapy, plus family case management and training.
Unique to our Therapeutic Preschool is our commitment to treating each and every client as a individual person with individual needs, challenges, abilities, potential, and family issues; our willingness to provide
services to children who are turned away or rejected from other institutions; our willingness to provide services to unfunded clients; and a commitment to requiring and developing every teacher to be certified in early
